The labs all use the Pure Data ("Pd") program -- to run them, you'll need to download Pd and get it running first. Here are the Pd download page and Documentation for installing and starting it .

To run a lab assignment, first download it to a file on your computer. Then start Pd, choose "open" from the file menu, and navigate over to the downloaded file.

NOTE: your browser is likely to show you the contents of the Pd patch as code; don't bother to read it, just save it to a file and open from Pd.
