Properties of Fourier transforms

In this section we will investigate what happens when we take the Fourier transform of a (complex) sinusoid. The simplest situation is a sinusoid of frequency zero (DC). After we derive the Fourier transform of that, we will develop some properties of Fourier transforms that allow us to apply that result to more general sinusoids.
